Our Ministries
This apostolate aims at accompanying families throughout their marriage journey and strengthen them through various interventions such as social interaction and outreach programs. They are also given opportunity to serve as model families in the church by emulating the family of Joseph, Mary and Jesus. Fr Patrick Jambo is the Diocesan chaplain for this movement.
Read More →Through this apostolate, young people are empowered to participate in Church programmes, leadership and social economic activities. They are also consistently engaged and helped to make better decisions so that they can leave a meaningful life. These youths are in two categories: those within the school going age range, called the Young Christian Students(YCS), and those who are working /doing business or who have attained working age, called Young Christian workers(YCW). Fr Stanford Sungani is the Diocesan Youth Chaplain.
Read More →This is an organization within the church that coordinates various works being carried out by women within the Diocese. It also empowers women and enhances their participation and service within the Church. The Diocesan chaplain for CWO is Fr. Ignation Yohane.
Read More →The Diocese has a wide network of associations and chaplaincies that were placed to ensure encouragement of the Lord’s work through different ministering activities, fostering spiritual growth, community outreach, and support for individuals across all walks of life. These associations serve as dedicated arms of the Church, addressing diverse needs such as youth empowerment, charitable works, evangelization, and the promotion of social justice, all while uniting the faithful in their mission to live out the Gospel.
